The Supreme Court has overturned Roe V. Wade. Here in Nevada, our right to access abortion and other vital reproductive health care is protected by law. Make no mistake, with Roe gone, anti-choice groups across the country will do everything they can to make away our right to safe abortions. Now more than ever we need to elect strong pro-choice leaders to protect our rights for the next generation.
What have I done?
In my first session I introduced and supported legislation to:
Invest in our abortion and reproductive healthcare providers so they can continue providing critical care to Nevadans alongside the influx of patients seeking care they can no longer receive in their home state.
Expand access to childcare and mandate universal paid family leave so that Nevadans can freely choose when and if to start a family without going into financial ruin.
What do we still need to do?
Invest in our abortion and reproductive healthcare providers so they can continue providing critical care to Nevadans alongside the influx of patients seeking care they can no longer receive in their home state.
Expand access to childcare and mandate universal paid family leave so that Nevadans can freely choose when and if to start a family without going into financial ruin.
